Forest to Deep Ocean, in that order
Zones sit farther from the Safe Zone as you climb. Later islands hold rarer eggs. Read the stamina sign, then buy wings or a stamina upgrade before you force a longer gap.

Signs are not locks
Boundary signs list a recommended stamina. You can attempt the gap earlier. If the bar dies over lava, you lose the egg and the flight. Clear a zone cleanly before you farm it.
